What is the cost to register on this site?

Gold Membership - FREE

Platinum Membership - $99.95 / Year

Details of the benefits of the Platinum Membership can be viewed here.  Some benefits include a FREE Store Subscription, FREE PayPal Buy Now buttons in your ads, and FREE or discounted options.  Plus the ability to list up to 1000 ads at one time.

How much does it cost for sellers to place listings?

Classified ad listings are FREE! Gold members are limited to 5 ad listings at any one time. Platinum members can list up to 1000 ad listings at any one time. There are, however, fees for add on options.  Cost specifics for add on options are explained here.

Is this site secure?

Yes. Your transactions are protected by the latest encryption technology.  All pages where personal informaion is transferred are encrypted.

How do I find what I'm looking for?

You have several options:

• We offer a "quick search" bar at the top of our pages for you to enter keywords and categories to search.
• We offer an Advanced Search page for you to refine your search criteria.
• If you already know what you are looking for you can browse the categories listed on the left side of the site's pages.

Can I save items to revisit later?

Yes. You can maintain your own "favorites" list within your account. Each listing on our site has an "add to favorites" link. Simply click that link and we will add that item to your favorites list. You must be registered and logged in to use this feature.  Otherwise, you can use your browser's favorite list to save the page.

What if I can't find what I am looking for?

You can set up search filters within your account area. Our site will then screen all new listings, as they are placed on the site, and if an item is listed that meets your filter (search) criteria, we will automatically send you an email notification.

How do buyers and sellers communicate with each other?

We provide buyers with the ability to contact the seller through a form that is accessible on each of the seller's listing pages. The seller will then be notified by email of the buyer's questions and the seller can either reply by email or log in to their account and reply through our onsite messaging system. The seller can choose to keep their email address anonymous.

How is my ad listing promoted?

1. Gabsters.com is indexed by most search engines including Google. Browsers will have the ability to find your listings through a search engine search. (NOTE: There is no cost associated with search engine indexing, however search engine listing and placement is not guaranteed)
2. Gabsters.com also offer a way to automatically post your listings to your Facebook feed so your friends can see what you have to offer. This is set up on Facebook by following the instructions in the "My Facebook" section of your Gabsters account manager. Once it is set up, everytime you post an ad listing it will automatically be posted to your wall on Facebook. Also, it only has to be set up once.
3. All ad listings are posted to the Gabsters.com Facebook page for increased exposure.
4. Gabsters.com also may repost some ad listings to external websites for increased exposure. (NOTE: Ad listings are not quaranteed to appear on other websites)
5. Gabsters.com also offers optional features to help promote your ad listing on Gabsters.com. Optional features include homepage showcase, homepage featured listing, and category featured listings.(NOTE: optional features may be purchased at the time of listing or by upgrading an existing ad listing)
